Also, Trackboi, who has been working at his career since the age of 14 but, not only a rapper and producer, but completes the total package as an audio engineer, having worked at the million dollar B.B.King Studio at Mississippi Valley State University. He is about to feed the music industry powerful, high quality music that the industry is hungry for.

Steven's unique inspiring sound reflects his roots as a Californian, seamlessly blending elements of rock, reggae, country, jazz and blues with his socially conscious lyrical style. The influences of Dylan, Lennon, Marley, Ben Harper and others, who have infused their music with social and political meaning, echo throughout. The masterful way in which Steven combines the wide breadth of musical styles featured on Outside Looking In propels his message into the hearts and minds of all who listen.

On “Orchid,” K.C. brings together powerful vocals that call to mind music’s finest female singers (Patty Griffin, Karen Carpenter, Emmylou Harris, Over the Rhine’s Karin Bergquist), with songs worthy of the top tier of contemporary/roots singer-songwriters (Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Nanci Griffith) and the familiar feel of a new generation of smart-pop princesses (Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles).

Their power-pop did even more to gain my love once they started singing about young men who love John Cusack (guilty), bearded hipsters (guilty), Firefly references (guilty), donuts (guilty) and ironic rapping (guilty).
